Gas is a clean efficient fuel and is the preferred fuel for many Dublin home owners, with oil prices rising due to troubles in the east gas is becoming more popular here in the west. Gas is given a distinct bad smell so as to worn users if there is a leak somewhere. Gas is flammable and there have been many accidents related to gas in Dublin because of faulty equipment and bad installation. Gas is still rising in use throughout Dublin and people are choosing gas over oil.
